Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Delaware’s at-large district since 2017, has shared a series of tweets addressing the current administration's economic and environmental policies. Born in Philadelphia in 1962, Blunt Rochester has been a vocal advocate for the residents of Delaware. Her educational background includes a BA from Fairleigh Dickinson University, and she resides in Wilmington.

On April 8, 2025, Rochester expressed her views on the current administration's economic policy by posting: "This is a stark look at what this administration’s economic policy means for the vast majority of families across this country. The ultra-rich get even richer while the rest get crushed."

Later the same day, she commented on environmental policy, stating: "The EPA needs a strong, experienced counsel to help make sure our environmental laws are enforced and our vital natural resources are protected. This administration doesn’t care about any of that. That’s why they appointed someone completely unqualified."

On April 9, 2025, she criticized the administration's handling of economic matters, noting: "This administration just brought us to the brink of a global economic meltdown only to change their mind at the drop of a hat. This chaos is on brand. America’s success depends on stability – this is no way to govern."
