Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, currently serving in the U.S. Congress and representing Delaware’s at-large district, expressed her views on several pertinent issues through a series of tweets over the last two days. Blunt Rochester, who has served since 2017, continues to be vocal about matters she deems important.

On March 31, 2025, Blunt Rochester joined in the celebration of Trans Day of Visibility. "I join everyone celebrating #TransDayOfVisibility today!" she tweeted. She emphasized the significance of opposing transphobic hate and fostering safe and inclusive communities. She concluded with, "Today and every day, trans rights are human rights."

On April 1, 2025, Blunt Rochester highlighted the ongoing efforts of Senator Cory Booker, who held the Senate floor for 16 hours. She remarked on the current administration's actions, stating, "because what this administration is doing is not normal." She also shared a Delawarean's story reliant on Medicaid, underscoring its broader impact. "Senator Booker explained how stories like his will impact us all."

Later that day, Blunt Rochester tweeted about her experience watching Senator Booker on the Senate floor. She described it as one of the most passionate speeches she had witnessed, adding, "He's calling on us to stand up for our country and fight for its principles." She encouraged her followers to tune in, stating, "If you're not watching, now is the time to tune in."
