On April 2, 2025, Blunt Rochester shared her view on social media about her appreciation for her friend, Senator Cory Booker. She commented, "I’m inspired by my friend @SenBooker. He stood up for the American people over the last 24 hours, and we must be clear about why it was necessary. He raised the alarm and shined a light on the harm already caused by this administration. Now, we work to redeem the dream."

Later that day, Blunt Rochester criticized the current state of the healthcare system with a strong statement. On April 2, 2025, she wrote, "This isn't efficient. This isn't helping patients or providers. This is chaos and cruelty that will hurt the health of our communities. Also, it's just a horrible way to treat good people who signed up to serve their country."
