Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Delaware’s at-large district, has recently shared a series of tweets highlighting her legislative activities and engagements. She succeeded John Carney in 2017 and has been an active participant in various congressional initiatives.

On December 10, 2024, Rep. Blunt Rochester announced her support for the Thomas R. Carper Water Resources Development Act. She stated: "Today, I cast my vote for the Thomas R. Carper Water Resources Development Act! Named for @SenatorCarper - one of our greatest environmental & infrastructure advocates - this bipartisan bill will provide funding for essential water infrastructure projects in DE and nationwide."

Later that day, she attended an event celebrating Delaware's culture on Capitol Hill. On December 10, 2024, she expressed her enthusiasm by tweeting: "Thrilled to stop by the most anticipated event of the year on Capitol Hill celebrating Delaware’s food and festivities — Taste of Delaware!"

On December 11, 2024, Rep. Blunt Rochester paid tribute to Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm via Twitter, acknowledging her significant contributions as a pioneer in American politics: "This is a well-deserved honor for Congresswoman Chisholm - an educator, an advocate, and the first Black woman elected to Congress.
