Lisa Blunt Rochester, a U.S. Congress representative for Delaware's at-large district since 2017, recently expressed her concerns on social media regarding actions taken by the Trump administration. Her posts focused on issues affecting public servants and federal workers, as well as broader fiscal policies under the current administration.

On March 5, 2025, Rochester shared her support for Dr. Wallace, highlighting her dedication to public service before being dismissed shortly after receiving a positive performance review. She urged people to "hear her share the human impact of Trump’s thoughtless ‘chainsaw’ approach."

In another post from the same day, she criticized the treatment of federal workers under the current administration. Rochester stated that "Federal workers who show up every day looking for ways to improve the lives of people all across the country deserve better than the treatment they’ve received from this administration." She described these actions as cruel rather than efficient.

Rochester also addressed fiscal policies in a subsequent tweet, condemning former President Trump's tax strategies. She remarked that during his first term, he increased national debt through tax breaks for wealthy individuals and is now proposing further cuts at the expense of Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. According to Rochester's statement on March 5, 2025: "This time is different, and so much worse."
