Teams from the City of Newark municipal offices, Alderman's Court, and the Newark Police Department have collaborated to design and develop a brand-new app for Newark residents and visitors. AskNewarkDE is a resourceful, user-friendly, and free app available for download in the App Store and Google Play.
Newark residents and visitors can engage with the City like never before. AskNewarkDE highlights information on Government, Public Safety, Parks & Recreation, City Services, and City News; app users will find it easier than ever to stay connected. The app is full of features allowing citizens to access the City to find the latest news, information on events, pay utility and other bills, and view live meetings with the touch of a button.
“The City is proud to launch its first mobile app and further promote transparency in government,” said Tom Coleman, City Manager. “We’re excited for residents to download the app and share their feedback so we can continue to make the product as helpful and beneficial as possible.”
The app was developed by an in-house team to highlight the most visited services on the City’s website, capturing the most desired information to streamline the user experience. Users can easily find the app by searching AskNewarkDE in the app stores.
