City Of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
Mayor Mike Purzycki today shared information with City residents about FREE COVID-19 testing sites in Wilmington for next week. Residents are urged to continue to take precautions to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, including avoiding large crowds, wearing a mask, and washing and sanitizing their hands frequently. Mayor Purzycki thanked the New Castle County government and the City and State Emergency Management offices for arranging the weekly testing events in Wilmington.
The upcoming Wilmington test sites are:
- Monday, November 2: Wilmington Hope Commission, 38 Vandever Avenue, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. (Walk-Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
- Monday, November 2: Latin American Community Center, 301 North Harrison Street, 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. By appointment only. Call 302-320-6439.
- Tuesday, November 3: Judy Johnson Park, West 3rd and North DuPont streets, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (Walk-Up Only) Register in advance at delaware.curativeinc.com
- Wednesday, November 4: Henrietta Johnson Medical Center, 601 New Castle Avenue, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. By appointment only. Call 302-655-6187.
