City Of Wilmington issued the following announcement on Oct. 29.
Wilmington City government offices will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, 2020, in observance of Election Day. As a result, the Department of Public Works’ Sanitation Division will collect trash on a modified holiday schedule:
- Monday, November 2: East of I-95 trash collection
- Tuesday, November 3: No trash collection
- Wednesday, November 4: West of I-95 trash collection

Mayor Purzycki today encouraged citizens to exercise their right to vote on Tuesday.
