Delaware state Rep. Mike Ramone (R-Pike Creek) recently hosted a holiday party and fundraiser for supporters of his 2020 re-election campaign at the Columbus Inn.
Tickets were $100 for the Dec. 2 event, where wine beer, a specialty cocktail and hors d'oeurves were available and a silent auction and raffle were held.
Meanwhile, Ramone, who serves in the 21st District, is trying not to allow campaign season get in the way of the job at hand.
He recently attended the last out-of-session House Education Committee meeting on school funding where several chief financial officers from around the district weighed in.
“As we are sure to continue this discussion when the legislature reconvenes in January, one of the main questions I will continue to ask is how much state funding actually gets in the classroom,” Ramone posted on Facebook. “I will keep beating that drum to get answers to the same, repetitive questions many legislators continue to ask of our local and state administrators."
