On February 4, 2025, Rep. Blunt Rochester expressed her intention to oppose every cabinet-level nominee considered on the Senate floor going forward. She stated: "I plan to oppose every cabinet level nominee that is considered on the Senate floor going forward." She further emphasized the harmful effects of what she perceives as recklessness and affirmed her commitment to standing up for Delaware.

In a subsequent post dated February 5, 2025, Rep. Blunt Rochester addressed concerns about an unconstitutional freeze on federal funding. She warned of its potential impacts: "The unconstitutional freeze on federal funding will have real & devastating impacts on our communities, our state, & our nation if it does go into effect."
