Brandywine School District issued the following announcement on Nov. 21.
At the November 18 School Board meeting, the Board voted unanimously to appoint Lincoln Hohler to the position of Interim Superintendent, effective February 1, 2020. Originally hired in 1992 as a teacher at Harlan Elementary School, Mr. Hohler has been an assistant principal, principal, Race to the Top director, director of secondary schools, and, most recently, assistant superintendent in BSD. The District is working with the Delaware School Boards Association to conduct a search for a new superintendent with the goal of having a new superintendent in place on or before July 1, 2020.
