City of Newark issued the following announcement on Oct. 19.
The City of Newark Parks & Recreation Department is looking to hire individuals to assist our before and after school programs held each school day at Downes and West Park Elementary Schools in Newark. Responsibilities include supervision and leadership of before and after care of children (grades K-5) in a variety of activities. Before care hours are 6:45-8:30 a.m. and after care hours are 3:00-6:00 p.m. A great opportunity for those interested in Elementary Education, Recreation, Child Psychology, or related fields. High School students are encouraged to apply. Interested individuals can review a full job description online and need to complete an application at www.newarkde.gov/jobs.
