University of Delaware men’s lacrosse players Colton Silverstein and Scott Conte received Atlantic 10 Conference weekly awards for their performances against the University of Massachusetts, according to an April 13 announcement from the league.
The recognition highlights individual achievements during a closely contested match in which Delaware narrowly defeated UMass with a score of 8-7. These awards acknowledge both defensive skill and rookie impact within conference play.
Silverstein was named defensive player of the week after making a career-high 18 saves, including a crucial stop in the final seconds that helped secure Delaware’s victory. Conte earned rookie of the week honors by winning 11 out of 16 faceoffs and collecting ten ground balls, matching his personal best from the previous week.
Looking ahead, Delaware will play its last home game of the season at Delaware Stadium on Saturday, April 18 at 1 p.m., when they host St. Bonaventure. The game is scheduled to be broadcast on ESPN+.
Fans interested in attending can purchase tickets for the remainder of the season online. Updates about Delaware men’s lacrosse are available through their official social media channels.
