Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester, who has represented Delaware’s at-large district in the U.S. Congress since 2017, recently posted a series of statements on her social media account addressing a range of political and humanitarian issues.
On January 27, 2026, Blunt Rochester called for action regarding South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem, posting “Fire Kristi Noem.” On the same day, she marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a message commemorating victims of the Nazi regime: “On International Holocaust Remembrance Day, we pause to mourn all those murdered at the hands of the Nazis, including more than 6 million Jewish people. May this solemn moment be a reminder that we must fight back against antisemitism and hate wherever they arise. Today &”
The following day, January 28, Blunt Rochester commented on an immigration case involving an individual named Victor. She wrote: “He has no criminal history. He hasn’t threatened anyone. His arrest, detention, and now deportation is beyond cruel. This administration is failing the ideals of our nation daily. Blunt Rochester was born in Philadelphia in 1962 and currently resides in Wilmington. She graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
