Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Delaware’s at-large district since 2017, used her social media platform on March 24, 2026, to comment on national leadership and ongoing political disputes in Washington.

In an early morning post, Blunt Rochester posed a rhetorical question about global affairs: “As you look around at all that’s happening in the world right now, I want you to ask: who’s in charge?” (March 24, 2026).

Later that day, she addressed airport delays and federal worker pay issues by directly criticizing former President Donald Trump. She wrote: “Don’t let Republicans in Washington tell you any different, Trump is the reason TSA agents aren’t getting paid and you’re facing long lines at the airport.” (March 24, 2026).

Blunt Rochester also commented on U.S. military involvement abroad. In a third post she stated: “Right now, we’re fighting a war this administration can’t justify, with no clear goals, and no exit strategy. We must end this before more lives are lost. That’s why I’m voting to support Senator Murphy’s effort to stop Trump’s war in Iran.” (March 24, 2026).

Lisa Blunt Rochester has represented Delaware’s at-large congressional district since replacing John Carney in 2017. She was born in Philadelphia in 1962 and currently resides in Wilmington. Blunt Rochester earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 1985.
