Former University of Delaware track and field athlete Sarah Klein (Hillman) was inducted into the Delaware Track & Field Hall of Fame on November 23 at the DuPont Country Club.

Hillman competed for the Fightin’ Blue Hens from 2014 to 2018, earning recognition as one of the top throws athletes in the program’s history. In 2017, she was named Colonial Athletic Association’s most outstanding meet performer in field events and won the CAA outdoor discus throw title with a mark of 56.06 meters.

She continues to hold school records in both indoor shot put (15.44 meters) and outdoor discus throw (56.75 meters). Hillman was among six athletes honored with induction into the hall of fame during last weekend’s event.
