Tobey Lock, Euan Mackenzie, and Luke Tollenaar from the men’s tennis team were named to the Conference USA all-conference teams in their program’s first season in the league, according to an April 28 announcement by the conference.

The recognition marks a significant achievement for the athletes and their team as they transition into Conference USA. These awards highlight individual performances during a competitive season.

Lock, a senior from Bristol in the United Kingdom, was selected for the Conference USA First-Team Singles. This is his first all-conference award over his four-year career with the Fightin’ Blue Hens. He played primarily at No. 1 singles, achieving an 11-8 record and starting out with eight consecutive wins during dual matches this spring.

Tollenaar earned a spot on the CUSA singles second team in his debut season after transferring from Campbell. He became only the 14th player in program history to win at least 18 singles matches in one season, finishing with an overall record of 18-6 and recording three separate winning streaks of five or more matches.

Lock and Mackenzie also received a first-team doubles honor from Conference USA after becoming Delaware’s first doubles pair to qualify for the NCAA Singles & Doubles Tournament. The duo achieved a peak ITA ranking of No. 35 in November last year and finished their careers with a total of 49 doubles wins together—second most in program history.

The achievements reflect both individual dedication and strong teamwork as Delaware men’s tennis completes its inaugural year competing within Conference USA.
