A late push by Delaware included three-pointers from Correa and Vance but was not enough to overcome Liberty’s advantage in the closing minutes.
Looking ahead, Delaware will wait for other Conference USA results to determine if they qualify for the upcoming Air National Guard Conference USA Basketball Championship in Huntsville, Alabama.
Sarah Jenkins called timeouts during key moments of the fourth quarter as her team tried to rally back but ultimately could not close the gap.
