University of Delaware sophomore Kate Roberts has been named the Energy Transfer Conference USA (CUSA) Women’s Golfer of the Week for the second time in three weeks, according to an April 8 announcement from the league office. The award follows her performance at the Terps Invitational, which concluded Delaware’s regular season.
Roberts was Delaware’s top finisher for a second consecutive tournament, tying for 25th place at the Terps Invitational hosted by the University of Maryland. She recorded six birdies over three rounds and helped lead Delaware to a seventh-place finish among sixteen teams.
This marks Roberts’ second weekly honor this spring; she previously earned CUSA Golfer of the Week recognition on March 25 after finishing as runner-up at The Nashville Invitational. In total, Delaware women’s golf has received four weekly awards this season, with Mary Grace Dunigan honored on September 24 and Rhianna Gooneratne recognized on October 22 during fall competition.
The Blue Hens are scheduled to have several weeks off before competing in the 2026 CUSA Women’s Golf Championship. The event will take place April 20-22 at Stonebriar Country Club in Frisco, Texas.
