University of Delaware women’s tennis players Amelia Gorman and Navya Vadlamudi were named to the 2026 Conference USA (CUSA) All-Academic Team, the conference announced on Apr. 10.

The recognition highlights both athletes’ strong academic performance as well as their contributions on the court. Academic honors like these underscore the importance of balancing sports with studies for student-athletes.

Gorman is majoring in psychology and has achieved a grade point average of 3.955, including a perfect 4.0 GPA during the fall semester. Vadlamudi is majoring in epidemiology with a GPA of 3.952.

On the court, Gorman and Vadlamudi regularly compete together as second doubles partners for the Fightin’ Blue Hens, posting a record of 16 wins and three losses this season, including a dual match record of 12-3. Individually, Gorman holds an overall record of 17-10 (15-4 in dual play), while Vadlamudi stands at 17-7 overall with a dual match mark of 14-4 since team competition began.

This achievement reflects their commitment both academically and athletically throughout the season.
