Delaware women’s basketball earns No. 8 seed for Conference USA Championship debut

The University of Delaware women’s basketball team has secured a place in the 2026 Air National Guard Conference USA Basketball Championship. This marks the team’s first season competing in Conference USA.

Delaware enters the tournament as the No. 8 seed and will face Kennesaw State, seeded ninth, in the opening round. The game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 at 12:30 p.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN+.

Earlier this season, Delaware played against Kennesaw State for the first time ever and won 65-60 in overtime on the road.

Tickets for the championship games at Propst Arena in Huntsville, Alabama are available for purchase online.
