Delaware Fightin’ Blue Hens announce 2025-26 indoor track and field schedule

The University of Delaware track and field team has announced its 2025-2026 indoor season schedule. Head coach Josh Hayman shared the details on Thursday.

The season will begin with the Penn Opener in Philadelphia on Saturday, December 6. The team will return to Philadelphia for the Penn Quaker Invite on Saturday, January 17.

On January 23-24, the Blue Hens are scheduled to compete at the Liberty Open in Lynchburg, Virginia.

The following week, multi-event athletes will participate in the Bucknell Open & Multis, while other team members will attend the Penn State Invite on January 30.

To close out their indoor season, Delaware will take part in two meets: the Rutgers Open at the Armory in New York City on February 6 and the David Hemery Valentine Invitational hosted by Boston University on February 14.

Liberty University is set to host the Conference USA Indoor Track & Field Championships from February 27-28.

Coach Hayman noted that details for the outdoor track and field schedule will be released later this year.
