New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry announced on April 13 updates to the schedule for the countywide town hall forums taking place this spring. The changes include a rescheduled Wilmington event and two newly added meetings in Newark and Wilmington.

The updated schedule is intended to give residents more opportunities to engage with county officials. Each forum will feature opening remarks from Henry, followed by a question-and-answer session. Representatives from various county departments will also be present to address residents’ concerns and provide assistance.

According to the announcement, the town hall originally set for Monday, May 4 at 6 p.m. in Wilmington has been moved to Thursday, May 7 at 6 p.m., now taking place at the George Campus of Delaware Technical Community College in Wilmington. Two new events have been added: one on Tuesday, May 5 at Cranston Heights Fire Company in Wilmington and another on Monday, May 11 at Newark Senior Center.

“These additional opportunities reflect our commitment to making sure residents can connect with us in a way that works for them,” said County Executive Henry. “We look forward to continuing these conversations in communities across New Castle County.”

Residents are encouraged to check New Castle County Government’s social media channels for further updates about locations and livestream information as the series continues.
