New Castle County Executive Marcus Henry announced on March 31 a series of town hall forums to be held throughout the county this spring. The forums will give residents a chance to speak directly with county leaders following the Fiscal Year 2027 Budget Address. Additional dates and locations for these events are expected to be released soon.

The scheduled town halls will take place at several locations, including Appoquinimink Library in Middletown on April 7, Claymont Library on April 13, Route 9 Library in New Castle on April 28, and Hockessin Library on May 19. An event is also planned for Wilmington on May 4, with the exact location yet to be announced.

Each forum will start with remarks from County Executive Henry and include a question-and-answer session. County department representatives will attend to help address resident concerns and provide follow-up as needed.

To make the events more accessible, several of the town halls will be livestreamed via the New Castle County Facebook page. This allows residents who cannot attend in person to participate remotely.

Residents are encouraged by officials to join whichever forum is most convenient for them and stay updated through New Castle County Government’s social media channels for further information about livestreams and upcoming details.
