Colton Silverstein of the University of Delaware men’s lacrosse team was named Atlantic 10 Conference Defensive Player of the Week after his performance against Binghamton, according to a March 30 announcement from the league. This marks the first time a Fightin’ Blue Hen has received an A-10 weekly award in program history.
Silverstein earned his first career victory as Delaware defeated Binghamton, 9-4. He allowed only four goals, a personal best, and achieved a career-high .667 save percentage with eight saves. The honor is also Silverstein’s first conference weekly award. He is a sophomore from Houston, Texas.
The Fightin’ Blue Hens are scheduled to return home to Delaware Stadium on Saturday, April 4 at 1 p.m., where they will host Hobart for Senior Day. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Fans interested in attending can purchase tickets for the remainder of the season through official channels. Updates about Delaware men’s lacrosse are available on X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and Facebook.
